Scar Daddy
Scar Daddy is a blog I made to follow the journey of me and my family. Originally the plan was to publish it when we were expecting a child to follow the pregnancy but the journey to that point is proving to be just as difficult.
I wanted those that may be struggling with the same experiences to have a place to benefit and uplift one another as we grow through it together. The name "Scar Daddy" comes from the fact that I have 285 scars all over my entire body. Each one of them carries a story, an experience, and a lesson. Marriage does the same thing and while most scars carry a negative connotation with them, marriage carries only good as every scar, bump in the road, or trial we face brings us closer together and stronger because of it. I also include hobbies and interests, life hacks, and other pieces that may be of interest to parents, kids, and everything in-between.

My name is Nathan, I'm the husband to a beautiful and brilliant wife and author of the blog Scar Daddy. She makes me always look good and approves all my stories before they go out so you know they are true. ;) I enjoy longboarding, wood working, solving puzzles of any kind and doing any project with my beautiful wife. We were married on August 15 2018 and have been trying for kids since that same day. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelors in Public Relations and focus my efforts to help companies present their best selves. Follow our journey and share your experiences here too. My name is Maryelena, I am the wife to the most patient and loving husband who happens to also be the genius behind the blog Scar Daddy. I enjoy everything that has to do with children and bringing them joy. I am a nanny and constantly prepping to be a mother myself. I enjoy any activity that involves my adorable husband, but I also love cooking and interior design. I enjoy being a homemaker more than anything. My biggest dream is to be a Mom and I will do everything necessary to make that dream a reality, all while enjoying being newly married and facing every challenge with the best partner in the world! We are as real as it gets so follow us on this crazy adventure as we figure it out as we go!
